چکیده
Testis is the male reproductive organ that performs both endocrine and exocrine functions. This study aimed to determine distribution of carbohydrates in testis sumba ongole cattle. The sample consisted six were collected from East Sumba Slaughter House, fixed formalin 10 %, processed histologically, continued with AB pH 2,5 - PAS staining. result showed a weak alcian blue intensity (+) tunica albuginea moderate (++) interstitial connective tissue, basement membrane, tissue lumen seminiferous tubules. A strong (+++) staining was seen spermatogonia, spermatocytes, myoid cells. Spermatids, spermatozoa, sertoli cells negative reaction (-). In intertubular area, Leydig fibroblasts (+++), (++). indicated by membrane variation acidic neutral cattle correlated proliferation different cell types steroidogenic activity at various stages testicular development.

Logistic regression analysis of pregnancy rate following transfer of Bos indicus embryos into Bos indicus x Bos taurus heifers.
Factors affecting pregnancy rate of 5627 Zebu embryos in crossbred females with unknown proportions of Holstein and Zebu breeding were examined. After evaluation for developmental stage, quality, and viability, embryos were immediately transferred to recipients. Pregnancy diagnosis was conducted approximately 53 d after transfer; pregnancy rate was coded as a binomial event and analyzed using l...
متن کاملPhysiological responses of newborn Bos indicus and Bos indicus x Bos taurus calves after exposure to cold.
Brahman (n = 9) and 1/2 Simmental x 1/4 Brahman x 1/4 Hereford (n = 11) calves were utilized to determine the influence of exposure to cold on the physiology of the neonate. All calves were removed from their dams within 20 min of birth and prior to suckling. Calves were assigned randomly within breed to either a warm (W; 31 degrees C) or cold (C; 4 degrees C) environmental treatment group. Jug...
متن کاملGenome sequence and assembly of Bos indicus.
Cattle are divided into 2 groups referred to as taurine and indicine, both of which have been under strong artificial selection due to their importance for human nutrition. A side effect of this domestication includes a loss of genetic diversity within each specialized breed. Recently, the first taurine genome was sequenced and assembled, allowing for a better understanding of this ruminant spe...
متن کاملSeasonal Change in Oxidative Stress Markers in Blood Plasma of Tharparkar (Bos indicus) and Karan Fries (Bos indicus x Bos taurus) Cattle under Tropical Climate
Free radical reactions are the integral part of normal metabolism. Normally, oxidation is necessary to provide energy for maintenance of cellular integrity and functions (Miller et al., 1993). In normal cellular metabolism, low to moderate ROS is generated as part of the signaling pathways, and in innate and adaptive immune response against danger signals (Martins Chaves et al., 2000). When rea...
متن کاملGrowth hormone mRNA expression in the pituitary of Bos indicus and Bos taurus x Bos indicus crossbred young bulls treated with recombinant bovine somatotropin.
The effects of breed and of recombinant bovine somatotropin (rbST) treatment on growth hormone gene expression were studied in young bulls. The experiment was completely randomized in a [2 x 2]-factorial arrangement, using two levels of rbST (0 or 250 mg/animal/14 days), and two breed groups (Nelore and Simmental x Nelore crossbred). A cDNA encoding Bos indicus growth hormone was cloned and seq...
